On tap now
We currently have 10 beers on tap (soon to be 15, stay tuned). We recently got a new head brewer and we are very proud of the beer he is creating here at The Toad. The beers highlighted below are his work. We’ve named the beers, designed the labels, and written the descriptions to be synonymous with the experience we want for our customers when they come to see us.
We also like to have a few guest taps from other Colorado breweries to mix it up a bit and provide a little more variety. We want everyone to enjoy a beer no matter what style they like. We’re looking forward to seeing you soon!!
This IPA is a smash for so many reasons. It’s a single malt, single hop beer that is more complex and delicious than you would expect from a smash. It’s also been a huge hit with everyone here at the brewery and we’re currently making it into a musical! We believe it will be just as much of a smash on Broadway as it is here.
If you like your IPA’s delicious, then this one is for you! Lot’s of citrus notes and a sharp pithiness gives this beer a description that no one really understands. However, it’s still a great tasting beer and one you’ll enjoy if you like full-bodied, super flavorful IPA’s. Don’t even think of adding a cowboy to the name because that song will stick in your head all day long.
We would be remiss if we didn’t include something obviously punny in the description of our “Wagner Porter”. But seriously, this beer is something to sing about! Just between you and me, it doesn’t drink like a porter. It’s smooth and slightly sweet and all the flavors seem to work in perfect harmony. This is a beer you’ll keep coming back for because you’ll want to enjoy as much of this as you can stand.
Gose Of The Gods
Isn’t it time for a Gose that steps outside the box a bit? Our “Gose of the Gods” is just what you’re looking for. With just a touch of strawberry and a hefty 7% ABV, we jokingly refer to this one as an imperial sour, but this beer is no joke. It’s a perfect tart sipper to end one of those long summer days of fighting site seeing traffic.
Somebody was smoking somethin’ when they named this one. Fortunately, the big win for this Irish Red is the taste, not the name. You’ll love this easy-drinking red even if reds aren’t your go-to beer. Think of this one as the elementary school student that gets teased because of his name, but everyone loves him just the same!
So you might think this is a beer for beginners based on the name, but that would be a juvenile conclusion. “Baby Steps” appeals to the novice and experienced beer drinker, and it’s the first beer our head brewer ever created at the Toad. We had to give it a name that would commemorate, memorialize, and immortalize this historic addition to our brewery.
